I learnt to fly in 1983 and gained my CPL in 1986. In the following years I worked as a flight instructor and ME IFR charter pilot, also engaged in SAR operations as a pilot, dropmaster and despatcher and observer leader.
Most training was conducted in Piper Warriors, and charter in Seminole, Dutchess, Baron, Aztec and Navajo/Chieftain. I became CFI and Chief Pilot of a small school and charter company at Moorabbin, moving to Lakes Entrance in East Gippsland to run a remote base there.
In the early 1990s I left the industry for personal reasons, but never lost my love for aviation. I returned to flying in 2018 and became a flight examiner in 2022. I spent some time as HOO of a large flight training organisation, but are now focusing on flight testing.
I am happy to travel and would love to assist you with your flight-testing needs.
